From Continually On Edge to Feeling at Ease: A Journey with Nurosym Vagus Nerve Stimulator
"It's not been a miracle cure for me, I still struggle with anxiety, but it's been a really wonderful tool, and it's enabled me to continue taking the medication that I thought I was going to have to stop so I'm really grateful for that. So I do recommend it, especially as they have the 30-day trial period." - Bryony

So doing a video for the Nurosym vagus nerve stimulator, which I have been using for a few months now. I bought it because I'd started a new medication that had really helped in one way, but came with the side effect of a continually activated nerve, central nervous system. So the fight and flight response was just, I was just continually on edge, I was continually in the fight or flight response.
Even, at 9 o'clock at night, sitting on my sofa, or lying in bed. And it was just unbearable. I bought this device hoping that it might enable me to relax. Because otherwise, I was going to need to stop taking the medication because it was just awful. And yes, it really works.
I think the first time I really felt it was the second time I used it. I think the first time I had it on very low intensity and the second time I turned it up. Yeah, I could really feel my rest and digest kicking in. My stomach started gurgling and my eyes started leaking just watery, which apparently is another parasympathetic nervous system response.
I got some sort of tingling sensations in my head and on my skin, in my body as well which again I think is a another sign that the parasympathetic nervous system is activated. And emotionally, I just felt a lot more at ease. I really recommend that you try it, especially if you are struggling with feeling on edge or anxious a lot of the time.
