I was diagnosed a while ago with having an issue with my parasympathetic nerve. It was showing symptoms of me being really sick and really, really tired.

I was advised by a specialist called Professor Epstein that a [Nurosym; formerly Parasym] device would be my best way forward if I wanted to have a drug free treatment.

And because it was affecting my stomach, he suggested that I use the [Nurosym; formerly Parasym] on my tragus, this part of my ear, on the left hand side.

So, this is the [Nurosym; formerly Parasym] device. It comes in its own little bag. As you can see, it's quite small. And it has a little earpiece that should not be tangled. Let me just untangle that.

And then, with the earpiece, it's recommended that you just damp your fingers, and damp those little clips, put it on your tragus like that, and then you flip up the [Nurosym; formerly Parasym], turn it on, and then you set the pulse in your ear to whatever feels comfortable. So at the moment, I can just start to feel a tingling at around 16.

When I was really unwell, I could actually cope with a pulse of around 30, 32, but as I've got better, the pulse has come down and sometimes when I'm wearing it for the 15 minutes twice a day that I've been recommended, I find that I have to just turn it down a little bit because it starts to be too strong.

So as I began using it, I found that gradually the symptoms of sickness that I was suffering from, sometimes more than once a week for 24 hours at a time, started to reduce and it's got to the point now probably six months later where the sickness has pretty much vanished and I'm feeling much calmer.

Because apparently it was due to elevated cortisol levels, from basically working too hard and getting burnout. So as I say, I wear this twice a day, 15 minutes at a time, and it's genuinely made a huge difference.
